JR. High Softball Parents: North Hopkins and Fruitvale have shut down their schools for a few days, so we had to make some quick last minute changes. All 8th grade softball players are staying at CP and will be playing a double header vs Winnsboro’s select team starting at 5:30 at home. All 7th grade softball players are traveling to Saltillo and playing a double header starting at 4:30. This may be short notice, but now our kiddos get to play extra games tomorrow. Thanks for always supporting our school!

Today the Lady Eagles have officially ended their tournament season with receiving third place in the Mount Vernon Silver Bracket tournament. We will play at home next Tuesday against CHESS.

Eagle Pride Alert! Our boys earned a 30-12 JV win over Quitman. Defense standouts Eddy Gonzales had several tackles for loss. Adan Bucio fumble recovery for a touchdown.  Offensive standouts Adrian Chambly had several good blocks. And Ian Rodgers scored 3 touchdowns. Dear Como-Pickton Parents, We are fortunate to have been able to serve free breakfasts and lunches for our students this year regardless of your home income. In order to continue that for next year, however, our district must meet certain requirements. We meet those requirements by completion of certain things within the meal-packet forms. The first week of school, we sent these meal-packet forms home with your child. We need every single one of those filled out. It doesn't matter if you qualify for Free or Reduced Services, we still need to collect those by tomorrow. If your child did not deliver one to you, please contact your child's campus. We will be happy to email one to you if you need it or send another one home today. If we do not meet our requirements, we will not be able to offer free meals again next year. I think we all agree that this is a great service for every student in our community, and therefor we need your help getting those forms returned to school.
