Our GT and Student Council students delivered them yesterday and loved every minute of it!!

Como and Pickton Communities - Some of you may be curious about all of the construction taking place at the school just north of the football field. We are in the process of building a new athletic fieldhouse and concession stand to replace the ones that were destroyed by tornado in June. The facilities will be much nicer than the ones that they are replacing. THEY ARE NOT part of the bond project that you voted on. We are using insurance money and Fund Balance to pay for them. (Fund Balance is school jargon for saying our school's savings account.) We are excited about our students being able to utilize these upgraded facilities. The tornado was devastating to our school, but it has been a blessing in many ways as well. This is just one example. We have added a rendering of what we hope the finished product will look like. For those who knew Coach Niblett, we plan on continuing to honor him by keeping the building named for him. As always, we thank you for your continued support of our students. #EaglePride247

Eagle Nation Alert! Don't forget - tomorrow night is "Deck the Halls" for all of CPCISD. Students and teachers have decorated the hallways and all of our Band students have prepared music for your entertainment. See you at 6:00 p.m. in the Secondary Cafeteria for the concert and strolling the hallways with your families!

We hope that you enjoy this Christmas art from Madalyn Thornton, 7th grade. Post your positive comments below! #EaglePride247
