Eagle Pride Alert!
The Lady Eagle Softball team played their seeding game for 1st and 2nd tonight against Alba Golden and won 10-5! It was an incredible game by two top ranked teams. With this win they will enter playoffs this week as the 1st seed and will play Linden Kildare the first round! We will post location, dates, and times as soon as they are finalized! This game was a great representation of how the season has been. An absolute all around team effort and performance! The Lady Eagles are currently ranked 3rd in state!

Eagle Pride Alert! Sean Carpenter and Cade Childress wrapped up the boys track season at regionals in Springtown. Both of these young men performed well and set PR’s in their event! Sean threw 121’9” in the discus. Cade ran an 11:09 in the 3200M and finished with a 5 minute flat mile. Congrats to both of these young men for their season and representing Como-Pickton with such class.
Eagle Softball Fans! The lady Eagles Softball Team will be playing their seeding game Tuesday, April 22nd at LoneOak starting at 6:00pm.
We are moving the game to Tuesday because the Regional track meet was moved to today due to the weather on Saturday.
Come out and support it will be a great game to watch!
Eagle Pride Alert! On April 4th, 2024, the Como-Pickton Junior High Eagle Band traveled to Gilmer High School to compete in the Region 4 UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation Assessment. Each band is evaluated by 3 judges for their stage performance, and 3 different judges in the sightreading room. The band did good on stage, and, for the 2nd time in the Junior High Band's history, these students received a 1st division in the sightreading room. A 1st division is defined as Superior, and is the best score a band can receive. These students have worked diligently to prepare for this concert, and it is clear their hard work has paid off.

Your Lady Eagles are Co-District Champions!!! They have had a great season so far and it’s far from being over! They played a great game today vs a good Fruitvale team winning 10-3! They played amazing defense and bunted/hit the ball great!
They honored their seniors tonight;

The overall highschool career record was 128-14.

Eagle Pride Alert! Congratulations to all of our FCCLA state qualifiers who competed this past weekend at the FCCLA State Leadership Conference. Valerie Gonzales, Claire Jalufka, and Zoe Reed placed 3rd with their Chapter Service Project (Portfolio). Eagle Band and Athletics Alert! Christus will be offering a mass physical event on May 3th at the ROC in Sulphur Springs this year. We will have a time slot of 8:30 am so we will load busses and take athletes and band for kids going into 7th, 9th and 11th grades or if your child was under a doctor's care for an injury during the past year. Coach Bulls will hand out physical forms this week during athletic periods and PE periods. These forms will be the physical and medical history form. They will need to be signed and turned back to Coach Bulls prior to the physical event no later than April 29th so he can get an accurate count for bus and drivers.
