🦅 Mrs. Walden’s Message to Our Community

At CPCISD, students don’t just get an education—they get the Best Choice in academics, extracurriculars, and a team of dedicated staff who truly care about their success.

We prepare students to soar through strong academics, innovative programs, and caring teachers who go the extra mile. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the field, or on the stage, our Eagles are learning, leading, and achieving more every day.

We are deeply grateful to the Como and Pickton communities for your continued support in making our district the best in Hopkins County!

SB 12 Parent Permission Forms

Thank you for your quick response to the SB 12 parent permission forms!
We appreciate everyone who has already signed and returned them.
If you haven’t yet, please send them to your child’s homeroom teacher as soon as possible.

Lunch / Socioeconomic Forms

Como-Pickton CISD is required to collect the socioeconomic status of each student as part of state and federal accountability and funding requirements (TEC §39 and ESEA §§1111, 1113, and 1116).
This information is confidential and not shared with outside agencies.

These forms are essential in determining our eligibility for Title I and State Compensatory Education funding, which directly benefits students through:

Tutoring and academic support

Classroom technology

Additional teaching staff

Professional development for teachers

These forms also determine our accountability grouping with other districts across the state and help our High School students with Dual Credit Course funding and many other things associated with Higher Education.
If you have not yet completed and returned this form, please do so when it comes home again. Your participation directly supports your child’s school!

🎯 Box Tops for Education

Support Special Olympics at CPCISD by downloading the Box Tops App and scanning your Walmart or Brookshire’s receipts.
Every scan earns funds that go directly to our students!

📲 Stay Connected

Stay in the know with district news, events, and updates by downloading the CPCISD App from your device’s app store today!

💙 Together, We Soar

Thank you for your continued partnership in helping our Eagles reach new heights every day.
Your support makes all the difference in creating a school community where every student can thrive.

Our Lady Eagles hit the court with intensity and heart this evening!     •    The 7th grade team came out strong, battling through a tough three-set match. Despite falling just short in the final set, their grit and determination were on full display.     •    The 8th grade team brought the fire and dominated the Lady Panthers, showing off their strong skills, teamwork, and confidence. It was a solid win that showcased just how much they’ve grown this season! Great job to both teams for representing with hustle and heart. Go Eagles! 🦅💙🏐
