🚨 Safety Alert: New Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures for Seconadry Students 🚸

Attention Junior High & High School Parents!
For the safety of our students, please follow the new traffic flow pattern:

➡️ One-way entry into the High School driveway on the west side of the campus
➡️ Create two lanes in front of the High School
➡️ Circle around and merge into one lane to exit by the flagpole

Chief Chester recommends these changes to improve safety and traffic flow.

Please follow the arrows and be patient as everyone adjusts to the new system. Thank you for keeping our students safe! 💙

Volleyball Area Playoff information Paris ISD Tuesday November 4, 2025 @ 6pm Como-Pickton vs Whitewright Como-Pickton will be the home team. $5 adults $3 students District, coaches passes, and senior passes accepted Online tickets only as soon as we get the link we will post.

The Lady Eagles closed out district play in dominating fashion as they hosted the Fruitvale Lady Bobcats on Senior Night. Both the JV and Varsity teams swept their matches, showcasing teamwork, energy, and determination from start to finish. Every player contributed to the victory, playing with great intensity and focus to secure a strong finish to the regular season. With district play wrapped up, the Varsity Lady Eagles now set their sights on the state playoffs! They’ll open postseason competition in the Bi-District round next Thursday, October 30, 2025. Congratulations to our seniors and the entire Lady Eagles team — your hard work and dedication continue to make us proud! 💙🦅

The parade today was so much fun at Como-Pickton Elementary! Thank you to all the parents that came out and participated!

Today, Mrs. Lowe's class reviewed physical properties, mixtures, solutions and force on the oobleck: fluid made from cornstarch and water that acts like a liquid when undisturbed but solidifies when stress is applied. The students enjoyed this hands on lesson at Como-Pickton Elementary.

Mrs. Carr’s class took advantage of the nice weather & decided to read their play, Beware the Thunder, outside. This play is based on “Rip Van Winkle” a short story by Washington Irving. Her students highly enjoyed the play and being outside.

Eagle Volleyball Fans!! Pack the stands for these ladies and their final regular season game!!

Your Eagles came away with a hard fought and physical victory tonight against the Boles Hornets!! These young men left everything on the field and walked away with a 34-18 victory! The Eagles are off next week and will return November 7th at Rivercrest!!

A huge shoutout to the Adult Probation Office, Gideon Gregory, and Jeb Brooks for their generous donation of jackets and hoodies to our CP families in need! 🧥💙

The Como-Pickton War Eagle Band will perform at Area this Saturday at 1:30 and we need people in the stands so that the judge's can feel the support of our combined communities! Please come out and cheer on these students @Mineola High School at 1:30pm this Saturday, October 25th (Location may change to Lindale due to weather- watch for updates).
