Yesterday was a special day for two of our Lady Eagles, as Graci Adair and Paisley Watkins both signed to play college softball at NTCC! Graci and Paisley have both had successful softball careers here at Como-Pickton and we are very proud of their accomplishment. Not many student athletes are able to make it to the next level, but these two young women have done it! Help us congratulate these two and wish them luck in their future endeavors!

It’s a great day to be an EAGLE as the Lady Eagles win big tonight!!! They played Alba Golden for the district seeding of first place and won 8-3. They had 12 hits, driving in 6 of the 8 runs! They bunted the ball to perfection and played great defense to back up some great pitching! This marks 6 straight years as District Champions! Our playoff picture is still waiting on one more game between Hawkins and Martins Mill which will be played tomorrow night. Season record 27-6 District record 12-1 Ranked 10th in state!

Eagle Pride Alert! Our hearts are absolutely overflowing with pride as we celebrate two of our incredible students, Justiss Larkin and Esther Steele, for being awarded the $40,000 Bright Star Scholarship from the Gillis Foundation.

These young ladies are not only outstanding students, but truly special individuals who represent the very best of our school. Their hard work, character, and determination have led them to this moment—and it is so well deserved.

Watching them grow and succeed has been a joy, and we cannot wait to see the impact they will make in the world.

Justiss and Esther, you make us so proud. Go do big things—we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.

Thanks for the pictures Chad's Media and Front Porch News.
