Eagle Community - In speaking with our local health authorities, and out of an abundance of caution, we are going to cancel our Fall Festival for this current year. Our goal this year is to keep our school open as long as possible. That goal has been threatened a few times already this year with the presence of COVID within our school itself. We want to minimize that threat as much as possible. Therefore, after speaking with our health authorities, we will plan on returning to having a Fall Festival in 2021. We were holding off doing this as long as possible hoping that we would not have to. We are thankful for your constant support. Our school year is one sixth of the way over, and we couldn’t have gotten through it without your ongoing support! From the bottom of our hearts! Thank you!

Como-Pickton Community - Our football UIL District Executive Committee met today to discuss changes to our football schedule in the event of a COVID shutdown during district play. The vote was 4 to 3 for the new schedule which is pictured below. Como-Pickton was one the three votes against changing our schedule. This is for Varsity only at this time, we will announce further information regarding JV and Junior High schedules as we receive them.
Another great week for the Como-Pickton JH Lady Eagles Softball team as they beat North Hopkins 16-0 and then beat Chapel Hill 5-2!!! That puts the Lady Eagles at an undefeated 4-0 record!!
